In an effort to make our application process more user-friendly and address a changing technological environment, the OGTR is undertaking a project to explore the use of online application forms. For the first stage of this project, the Application Entry Point (AEP) section will be trialling two forms:

  • Notification of NLRDs Form – Record of proposed NLRDs; and
  • Application Form for the Certification of a Physical Containment Facility.
The intention is to have these forms online and ready for use by all applicants by the 30th of June 2018. However prior to this, during May or June, we will be seeking assistance from a number of selected organisations with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the two forms. A large part of the UAT will be to determine whether data exported from existing systems used by stakeholders could be imported into an online application form system. If the forms being trialled are successful, the proposal is for other online application forms to be developed, with the intention for online submission capabilities to be available for all application types some point in the future.
