Notifiable Low Risk Dealings (NLRDs)

Notifiable Low Risk Dealings (NLRD) are GMO dealings that:

• are undertaken in containment (not released into the environment)
• have been assessed by an Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)
• pose a low risk to the health and safety of people and the environment (provided certain risk management conditions are met).
